April Daily Poem is a 30-day-long, 100% free creative challenge celebrating poetry

April is National Poetry Month in the United States and you're invited to join us to celebrate poetry!
Although it's a national event here in the States, writers from across the world are invited to participate.
Poetry is a powerful medium that asks writers to express abstract thoughts with beautiful, challenging language, being thoughtful about word choice, grammar, and structure. We invite writers of all mediums to explore poetry with us in April!
How to Participate
There are two ways you can participate in this challenge:
- Write a short poem every day.
- Write one line of a poem each day and develop your poem over the course of the month.
We've set up 60 prompts that will unlock daily in April between April 1st and April 30th. Register now to get your Welcome kit and join the #april-daily-poem channel on Discord.
The #AprilDailyPoem Community Anthology
Every year, the StoCo team publishes the poetry written during #AprilDailyPoem! When the challenge concludes, you'll have an opportunity to submit your three favorite poems that we'll publish in a community collection on DriveThruFiction.com, a platform for independent authors. (A portion of the proceeds from the anthology will be applied directly to our scholarship program to support creatives.)
