Dungeons are one of the oldest fixtures of tabletop gaming, and there's a reason the good ones are so memorable. But getting a dungeon to feel purposeful and alive takes more than filling rooms with goblins and gold. 

That's what this challenge is all about. Daily Dungeon is a free creative challenge that asks you to design one dungeon room each day, while keeping in mind the core ideas behind meaningful dungeon design. 

How to Participate

Every day throughout July, you'll receive 

• A new design challenge to build from
• Plus a single-word prompt for anyone who prefers a more flexible spark of inspiration.

Along the way, we'll also be looking at a few core ideas behind dungeon design, such as how to create meaningful choices, how environments shape play, how to build tension, and how small details can foreshadow a larger picture.
